ASTD’s Sales Training Advisory Committee serves as a think tank of industry thought leaders and practitioners who volunteer to help the committee staff research and understand the challenges sales organizations are facing today and in the future. One of its primary goals is to set worldwide standards of excellence for sales training and development.

Mike Galvin, Manager of Sales Training, says, “We selected Martyn Lewis to chair the ASTD Sales Training Advisory Committee because of his efforts and leadership in promoting innovative sales training techniques and practices not only this year as a committee member but also during the past two decades. As a leader in the field of sales training, and given his close relationship with broad sectors of the training industry, as well as with global corporations, Lewis was the obvious leadership choice for helping us advance our goals.”
